The Clark County Community Habitat ReStore is a discount building material and home furnishings store operated by Clark County Community Habitat for Humanity. The ReStore reuses, recycles and resells functional building materials and home furnishings that are in good condition, thereby diverting thousands of tons of usable materials from local landfills. The community gets affordable and sometimes unique items for home improvement and renovations. It then benefits Clark County Habitat for Humanity and enables us to build more homes in our community.

**VOLUNTEERS……..WE NEED YOU!!!!**

*         Inventory / Warehouse – Tues. Wed. Thurs. Fri. Sat 10am-4pm (upon availability)           

        Assist with inventory intake, storage, and pricing, sort and restock ReStore for Saturday business hours and assist with Saturday sales, assist with maintaining product areas. Receive, clean, sort, and prepare items for placement on the store floor, help ReStore manager to price newly donated items, assist customers during Saturday ReStore hours

*         Truck Driver / Delivery Assistant  -  Tues. Wed. 10am-4pm (flexible)                                             

dr      Drive/ride ReStore van to pick up donated materials. Map pick-up route and make scheduled pick-ups, explain donation acceptance and exclusion policies as necessary.  Properly load and secure items and complete paperwork

*         Donations Assistant – Tues. through Sat. 10am-4pm (possibly evenings if needed)    

        Assist the ReStore Manager with expanding donor base by helping to make connections and encourage donations by residential material suppliers (i.e., hardware or specialty stores, manufacturers, etc.) and remodeling contractors Initiate contacts with potential donors. Manage and document correspondence and discussions with potential and existing donors. Promote ReStore by phone and with hand-out materials, e-mail and web page. May perform duties at Habitat office, or work from home.

*         Sales Volunteers for ReStore – Thurs. 12pm-6pmFri., Sat. 9am-4pm ( 2 - 8 time slots available)  

         Help work with ReStore customers during store hours. Assist customers with locating items, Assist    customers with getting items to sales desk, Assist customers with loading purchases. Assist with straightening, organizing  and cleaning sales floor. Help where needed.
